COVID-19 Guidelines

TUSC's COVID-19 Protocols were last updated May 19, 2021.

The safety of our club's players, coaches, volunteers and their respective families is paramount. TUSC's protocols and procedures were created in collaboration with the Trumbull Health Department and Trumbull Nursing Department. They closely align to the recommendations and guidelines from the CDC, CT DPH and CT Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).

- Adults should continue to perform a health check of all youth players and self-check for themselves prior to attending any TUSC soccer-related activities. If an individual is sick or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, PLEASE STAY HOME.
- OUTDOOR SOCCER ACTIVITIES: masks / face coverings are not required however players, coaches, volunteers, officials and spectators may continue to wear one at their discretion.
- INDOOR SOCCER ACTIVITIES: masks / face coverings are required for all TUSC players and any other unvaccinated individuals. For those individuals who are fully vaccinated, masks / face coverings are subject to the requirements of the facility operators. Please check with the facility prior to entering the premises.
- Quarantine rules remain in place for any individuals who test positive for COVID-19 and/or for any individuals who are directly exposed to a positive case. The updated quarantine protocols are as follows:
1) Quarantine may end after 10 days without testing and if no symptoms have been recorded during daily monitoring, or
2) Quarantine may end after 7 days if the individual tests negative and if no symptoms have been recorded during daily monitoring. The test may be done within 48 hours (Day 5) of quarantine discontinuation (Day 7).
3) Fully vaccinated individuals OR individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 within 90 days of exposure do not need to quarantine.
