First, we hope all of our soccer moms had a great Mother's Day weekend!

Even though our on-field activities this spring have unfortunately been cancelled, we wanted a way to keep our players and coaches engaged with each other this spring.  We felt it was important for our players to also keep their soccer skills sharp and fitness up in preparation for when we can get back on the field.  

To meet this goal, our TU coaching staff have started putting together short training videos that are being loaded on our new Trumbull United Soccer Club YouTube page.  This allows for our players to see and hear our coaches provide instruction on training activities such as fitness, foot skills and tactics while throwing in a fun challenge every once in a while. 

You will be able to view these at any time and have your child practice the drills as your schedules allow.  Please take these training opportunities as optional and fun.  We hope you enjoy them and we would love to hear your feedback directly on the YouTube page via Views, Likes and Comments.

Today's videos are focused on fitness, strength, and endurance.  Some are geared towards specific age groups while others can apply to all our players.  Feel free to try a few out and build them into a regular routine.

Look for our next round of videos on Wednesday where we will have foot skills and circuit training drills with a ball from Coach Jaime, Coach Tyler, Coach Jon, Coach Nelson, Coach Melissa and Coach Franz.

A special thanks to Coach Jaime for getting this going, Coach Brandon for his A/V skills and all of our coaches who have taken time to put these together.  They miss seeing all of you on the fields and we all miss seeing them as well.  We hope this helps just a little bit!
